Hey guys,
A couple things. First of all, I think that the reason there are more downloaders than listeners is because of the sound. Honestly, the live show is hard to listen to when each person has a different volume level, so one must adjust the volume every couple seconds for each person. And, some people are just eating dinner at 6p and want to DL what they missed later on. But I think if you guys adjust the sound thing, the live show will catch on very quickly.
About the team, I think we’re doing very well. Everyone seems to be impressed with our receiving corp, but I think our skill and talent has always been there. Because of the lousy play calling last year, that amazing receiver potential was never tapped and all we did was try to run the ball through walls of defenders.
Which brings me to Markey. Everyone also seems suprised that he was overshadowed by Bell this past game. Having been spoiled by watching MoDrew play the year before last, I always thought that in comparison Markey was far too slow and not agile enough to do us any good. The reason I think he racked up all those numbers last year was because of all the run plays he had to pound through; again, I blame our then OC. With more balanced play calling this year, I’m sure Markey won’t be making half the yardage he had last season. Personally, I don’t think he’s really all that good, and that showed against Stanford with a second running back to compare him to.
Thanks for the show, guys!

The audio quality this week(#3) was much better with no one talking over the other. As for “live” vs “recorded”, if it improves the “volume level” control that would be good because I think Trevor talked quite softly whereas every one else was at a much higher volume level.
I personally don’t care for the disrespect I believe Trevor shows regarding strength of opponents. He almost conveys the attitude that the Bruins should mail in the score, even though he was probably closer to predicting the
Standford score. I kind of like the FSU Bowden approach of praising the opponent then beating the snot out of them.
All things considered, I thought the topics covered was good and the show worth listening to.
Question: is that Cal Poly Pomona or SLO?
Go Bruins
The CalPoly comes from Pomona, not SLO. I went there a very long time ago. I go more by CP these days on the ‘net.
